If you like spells and adventures - then you'll love A Pinch of Magic. I loved every moment of this adventure. It is one of those books that you will keep thinking of in real life, every now and then.

The atmosphere of the town really came alive when the curse became known. Writing - Top notch, I will definitely be picking up the sequel and will definitely read more from this author because the magic in this book was just how well it was written, how the stories weaved together and overall how the sisters were just so charming. All of the sisters had a unique personality and it really shone through, Betty was the leader of the sisters on this adventure and I think it came across as very natural. Will they be able to break it, because their time is running out - for good?

A truly magical tale, and one that I would recommend to children and adults alike. All these elements combine to create an enchanting story that weaves it's magic and leaves you spellbound. I would recommend it to strong, independent readers who are over the age of 9 and who enjoy a challenge both with new new words and a story.

I recommend this back for children 8+ since some words a younger child might not be able to understand! This book is filled with magic, adventure, and curses! I ended up getting the 2nd book too! The love the sisters have for each other, despite their differences, is wonderful.

I would highly recommend this book to people of all ages, but I can see this being such a magical eye opener to children and wish I could've been blown away with this story as a child too! A stunning adventure that you won't want to miss! Happily, there are more adventures to come, so when you reach the end of the book, do not despair, we will get to visit the Widdershins again! Atmosphere - This book really went a place I wasn’t expecting, the sisters die if they don’t follow the curse like that’s some serious consequences.
