Update: battery failed at 3 years and 1 month without any warning, so on par with Philips but the brushes were significantly more expensive, it was annoying that it failed suddenly but I still think it is an excellent toothbrush, the cost has come down from just over £400 to £168 which again is on par with Philips so I have not taken a star away for only lasting 3 years. This has A LOT of features for a toothbrush but if you are into your dental hygiene this is for you. The other niggle I have is that this only comes with one brush head, the brush holder has space for 2 heads so why not include a second brush head.

The app is a great addition, no trouble to load, connect or to use, great idea well executed. It makes my teeth feel fantastic and the whole experience is spectacular. When I accepted English the display shows “Hello” and this displays every time you switch it on.

The docking station is magnetic and you simply place the toothbrush into position for it to stay there whilst charging. When you press the On/Off button the LED displays a variety of languages for you to choose from. A frowning face appears in the LED if you don't brush for long enough and this changes to a smiling face and displays the amount of time you have used the brushed. I have been using this product for a almost a week now and this is my initial thought , It does look very Expensive and Sleek , the charger is magnetic and wireless, initial charging last about 4 hours and I have been using it for a week and still working properly, Iam impress that the sound is pretty quiet compare to some electric tootbrush.

I wasn't sure about the Bluetooth bit but actually it is really handy to make sure you spend the right amount of time in each area of your mouth. There are only 2 buttons on the toothbrush; On/Off and a white dot. I could go on.

But, there is no comparison with the IO, much more powerful, brilliant clean and I really was impressed with the ergonomics, it’s performance and it’s software. 99 on a special offer which I think is good value.

Things that I noticed that were different from my Philips:toothbrush head - I would have expected a second head with any toothbrush regardless of cost - having said that I just ordered 4 replacement heads for £26. Package content:- Toothbrush- Head- Travel bag- Heads holder- Charger- InstructionsThe toothbrush is rock solid, really nice to handle and has an incredible grip, love this!
