I was inspired to follow her step by step programme and activity is laid out clearly and were only as time consuming as you wanted them to be. I found that the majority of the activities were very effective in getting my brain to latch on to the positivesChapter 7: When I am in the zone was my favourite , not only did it remind me that I can achieve what i set out to do but I felt that zone feeling. Highly recommend.

Best i've read and different to anything else by making you completely engage with the process and i've learned a lot about myself. An absolutely brilliant book. The media could not be loaded.
Her writing style is so engaging and she is able to convey such important information in an easy to read and compassionate way. I have a few of her books and would rate all of them 10/10. Everything Shahroo said about wanting to jump ahead to the quick fixes and how we don't talk to ourselves like we would talk to a friend, rang true for me.
I think, Shahroo's own use of her method and experience with overeating gives the book a personal feel, as well a method that has been throughly tried and tested meaning the activities are well honed. I have had this book just over a month and it has taken me a while to write an adequate review. Shahroo’s work makes you want to read, think and marinate and then come back to it.
