L Taylor for writing a fantastic book and if I may say her best one yet and the previous books are very hard to beat. L Taylor book that I don't like and I very much doubt that will happen, if you love edgey twisty books filled with heart-stopping drama then The Guilty Couple is the perfect book for you. Plot and character build together throughout the book, there are lots of moments of nerve shredding, stomach clenching tension.

On her release from prison she is determined to prove her innocence and rebuild a life with her daughter. l was sucked right into the lies manipulation and guilt sprinkled with plenty of twists and turns that this intense and gripping thriller provides. This one has made them an auto buy for me now.

so much so that l finished this one in under 24 hours! Wow this book had me gasping for breath it was tense filled with unstoppable drama I was literally on the edge of my seat, once I started this book I couldn't put it down with brilliant characters a fantastic story this book is on fire, what made this story more believable for me was the locations that are mentioned in the book I know very very well, they way the story was told was just brilliant it was like a puzzle as your reading another piece of the puzzle fits but it wouldn't be a C.

The clever storyline gets the reader involved and invested with alternating chapters told from various characters,leaving you to puzzle who to believe. A new book from CL Taylor is always a drop everything must read asap. My reason for dropping a single star is my personal reaction to the novel's outset. The balance of plot and finely developed characters is perfect, as Olivia comes to terms with her new life as an ex-con and realises the uphill struggle ahead.

Excellent and highly recommend She knows she's been framed by her ex-husband and a woman who, we learn, has desperate motives in her own life. I read this within 24 hours of getting it! Olivia Spent 5 years in prison for a crime she didn't commit, her husband the father of her child set her up lied and cheated but now she's out and wants nothing more then to be reunited with her daughter Grace and to prove her innocence but with people who have secrets to hide they will do anything to stop her finding out the truth.
