This book is amazing! Some of the resources are even QR coded so you can download them straight to your drive. It’s totally worth every penny, trust me. My favourite part of the book follows, chapter 2&3.
She gives resources to embed into daily teaching and then there’s a whole chapter dedicated to revision! Not only does it give you up to date research of cognitive science and memory, but also summarises some very important papers and their implications in the classroom! It is not a fad.
This shows you how to apply retrieval practice in your classroom with soo many useful strategies that are not only fun but backed up by science! I found this book so useful that I ordered her first book too - love to teach. Throughout the book there are references to researchers/teachers twitter pages and summaries after every chapter and suggested readings. No negatives to say, just it’s quite a thin book, which I like, but some people may expect more for the money.
