I was really excited to try out this newest model as it potentially answers some of the things I wish my older polaroids had - one being a higher success rate, and the other being a self timer. It's a valid addition in today's Instagram world of wanting to get that selfie. Also, just a quick aside - if you’re not sure which to get, I’d personally recommend this OneStep+ because the app is super cool!

My fiancée loved her instant camera, so I got her this Polaroid OneStep+ as a Xmas gift. I was worried it might be more difficult to use than her current one, but the camera is pretty straightforward and easy-to-use (just remember to let the film develop according to the instructions). I imagine this is why the i-Type film works in these cameras and not in the vintage ones - they won't have the battery in the film pack like the 600 film does. Have had it for about 2 months and only take photos for special occasions since the film can be quite expensive but it's to be expected.

Ive been wanting a Polaroid camera for a while now and I finally splurged and bought this one despite the mediocre reviews. whoever you are, Polaroids are amazing. There is a learning curve but it seems all the bad reviews are just people who didn't relize how film cameras work and how sensitive they can be. Of course, everything is new and shiny and the emulsion rollers are working better, but i'm confident that if pointed at the right thing and in good light, the shots won't be wasted.

We don't print our photos enough any more and it's a shame. (Lost a star because it did jam and I lost 3 frames from the jam and light leaks but havent had an issue since) The thing to remember with Polaroid is that the beauty is in the imperfection.
