'Fresh and intriguing, with characters so real I ached for them. ' Lily has only been married for three weeks. I enjoyed this very, very much. Twenty-three years earlier, Gray and Kirsty Ross are teenagers on a summer holiday with their parents.

” The (love) story about the somewhat eccentric artist Alice with her dogs was also super nice to read. I loved and cared about the them and was just hoping the whole time for a happy ending.
The Booked Cook
Alice, the main character, was lovely too, someone that I really enjoyed reading about and felt connected too. While reading this book, I had actual jaw dropping moments. He doesn't remember how he got there or what his name is.

It is told from three points of view (a women who's husband goes missing, a woman who finds a strange man on the beach who has lost his memory and some teenagers on a coastal holiday in 1993) and moves well between each, linking together nicely. The family and the characters all felt so real.

For a thriller I didnt always find it too 'thrilling', with the exception of the 1993 flashbacks, but I still loved the book. I mean it. The story unfolds layer by shift, and everything seems to be connected to the events in the summer of 1993, when the Ross siblings and their parents spent their vacation in Ridinghouse Bay. you’ve really outdone yourself, here.

This book is everything you expect to experience in Ms. I loved this book!
I would give 10/10 as a gift. Definitely recommend reading this if you’re a Lisa Jewell fan. At the same time, newlywed Lily is missing her husband in London, and she is certain that something must have happened to him.
