I can't think of any games that have satisfied me as much as say, when I'm behind cover shooting at a drone and notice a wretch coming at me, swapping to the gnasher, leave from cover and blow him to bits in a satisfying gorefest back to the drone I was focused on earlier. This is one of the defining game franchises for Xbox and rightfully so.

I hope they give the remaster treatment to Gears 2 and 3 as well but that might be a bit much. It is a very good game, I like it very much, and I play in the xbox 360 version.

The game came fast. One of the best gears now it's been updated it's alot better now.
(5gb of performance and the rest installation from the disk). This is a game that every Xbox owner who is a fan of shooters should own.
The story is strong and fun and it's great that a game like this supports online or split screen co-op so you can play through this fun, and difficulty provided, tough experience with a mate or even a stranger online or if you'd rather play online versus it's here for you. If you can get it, so it will like it, and then for the price you buy it. The game is very distinct with fun combat, although this game that was made over 10 years ago I still enjoyed it as much as I did when I played it several years ago.
The things that make it stand out from the original are the graphics and frame rate, some extra campaign missions that previously were pc exclusive, and some multiplayer maps that were dlc before.
