About this deal
TuesdayIn this ingenious and imaginative - nearly wordless - picture book, frogs in a pond lift off on their lily pads and fly to a nearby town where they zoom through a woman's living room, encounter a dog playing in his yard, and distract a bathrobe-clad citizen from his midnight snack. Art and Max:Max and Arthur are best friends who both want to make art. Heavily influenced by surrealist Salvador Dali, Wiesner has crafted a fascinating story about friendship, creativity and the mysterious place where these two forces meet. Who knows what will happen next Tuesday? He's not lazy, he's just very picky. A bright; science-minded boy goes to the beach equipped to collect and examine flotsam anything floating that has been washed ashore. When the wolf comes a-knocking and a-puffing, he blows the pigs right out of the tale and into a whole new imaginative landscape, where they begin a freewheeling adventure as they wander-and fly-through other stories, encountering a dragon and a cat with a fiddle, among others. This familiar tale will never be the same old story again. Bottles, lost toys, small objects of every description are among his usual finds. “Tuesday” is an image book. Tuesday, around 8 p. The narrative is portrayed as a suspense and the ending is very well constructed.

m. I love these frogs!
I send sample photos! I loved it! Glad I got the library binding as it is very sturdy and will last much longer than a paperback version.
Perfect book for all ages to enjoy and can be used to develop language skills in any language regardless of age. , frogs begin a journey through the skies of a city. The books of this author-illustrator, David Wiesner, were truly a find.
The only text here is the sporadic information of the times to situate the story. So far everyone I've read is incredible, excellent illustration, narrative, sophistication.
