It makes my hair look so fresh and feels soft for the first time in years! I then run my hands somewhat vigorously all throughout my roots and then brush everything out with my brush before lifting my head up again and styling.

Either way, it works nicely for me. I have blonde hair that becomes extremely oily at my scalp. It removes the oils.

People who are sensitive to highly scented products might not appreciate it as much as I do, however. It makes me feel clean and refreshed. What I like about this dry shampoo is that it not only cuts down on the grease in my hair but it also gives my roots some volume. I tried one before, they either make my hair oilier and more irritating to my scalp, or they leave a white powder stain on my hair, which is horrible.
I noticed that some of the other reviewers have mentioned that this leaves a white residue in their but I personally have not noticed this. This dry shampoo was recommended to me by a friend. This time, I am happy and confident with my hair and the products I put in!
Because of this my hair is always so dry and damaged. It lingers in my hair all day after using it. I feel like I always have to wash my hair because if I don't I get a dry scalp which is so irritating and annoying. I do not think it will blend as well in dark color hair.
If you spray too much it leave behind a white residue. I should mention that I am a blonde and have very light colored hair so perhaps if it does leave a white residue it doesn't show up for this reason.
