I still took a chance and even though it came with almost no protection, there was only a few damages to the cover (none to the actually book). Headlines:Swashbuckling funParent problemsFrenemiesThis book was just a fun romp from start to finish. Thank you Pushkin Press for the review copy.

! Regarding the story, I love Tricia Levenseller's work; I just started reading this one, but as usual it's captivating and easy to read.

It was a pretty bloodthirsty read and any killing was just brushed by but it fit the tone of the piece and the fast-paced narrative. The media could not be loaded. #daughterofthepirateking #tricialevenseller #pirates #sirens #map #fantasy #romance #fantasyseries #bookone #pirateadventures

That Girl Who Reads Sometimes

I enjoyed her feisty behaviour, her leadership and her risk-taking. Daughter of the Pirate King is the kind of read that sweeps you up for a day or so and you don't think of other books because it occupies your time and mind.

Such a great story full of adventure. Perfect for ages 12 through to adult in my opinion- a little romance but no smut

I want to know more about Alosa's mother, so as I say, parent problems. Loved this! I loved this book the story was so immersing and my fav rite character was definitely alosa she is so strong and brave this book is great for people who love strong female protagonists I liked the good one.

There were two brothers in this debacle, one good and one bad. Alosa is fierce and strong, ruthless when needed, and also kind and thoughtful.
