My cinnamon buns have already become a firm favourite and the French bread is crusty and flavourful. But my favourite loaf (and the one in the photo) is as follows -300 mls lukewarm water25 gms butter, cubed, room temperature350 gms strong wholemeal flour150 gms strong white flourI tsp dough improver1 tbsp ground flaxseed mix (Aldi)1 tsp salt1 tbsp soft brown sugar (either light or dark)1 and 1/2 tsp fast action dried yeastIf you don't want to add the ground seeds then cut down on the water. My initial thoughts on it were that it IS a big appliance, but it's compact and light enough to tuck away when not in use. If the bread sticks a bit on the mix stage you can ad a little more olive oil or plain white flour if it's a bit wet (adding olives sometimes makes it wet but it tastes sooo good,

I settled on a small wholemeal loaf (500g) as if it all went wrong then I hadn’t wasted too many ingredients…but I needn’t have worried as I was more than happy with my first attempt (see pics! I have never had a bread maker before and it seems I am hopeless at making my own. I have never used a bread maker before, I found this machine easy to use, I only made a 500g (the smallest size) for the first attempt but as there is only 2 of us this is a perfect size. It came out beautifully - look at that texture!

The flavour however was delicious and the whole house smelled of fresh bread for the rest of the day. I also opted for the darker crust option, though it didn’t come out as dark as I thought it would. I am really pleased with this machine and the result and can't wait to try the other recipes. I love the timer function.

Finally done it (August 24th 2022) - see photo! Now that doesn't matter. After the churning and mixing has finished I quickly whip out the paddle then pat down the bread and pop the basket back in and the result is bread that is risen, slips out easily with only a small hole on the bottom.
