She’s not great with people, and doesn’t understand why people avoid her. And there’s some past trauma that affects them in a major way.

(She seems to have met my mother too, ha ha! You got the murders and the “whodunit” plot, and then you have Linda’s past and the mystery of what happened to her father. It took me a while to get used to her!

Joanna’s observation of people is second to none; she picks out a little gesture or comment that says so much. Another good read from Cannon.
Joanna Cannon. You almost feel sorry for her, because all she wants is friends. As for the story - Linda is 43 and lives with her husband Terry, who is 45.
And it wouldn’t matter what Terry was doing…”Cannon always gives us a character that’s searching for something. There’s a lot of wit in the pages too, so many clever bits that made me smile. ”✮ ✮ ✮ ✮I really enjoyed this book.
Cannon takes us for a ride and then BOOM 💥 Big surprise twist 😮 I did not see all of that one. This book has everything. A Tidy Ending is the newest book from Dr. They moved from Wales to try to start again, but Linda explains that things follow you, even if you try to leave them behind.
Linda’s narration isn’t quite reliable, because you don’t know the full story, and it can be quite uncomfortable at times. Another triumph!
