just a bit. I did need my tissues at one point and it proved to me just how connected I was with the characters that allowed me to feel such strong emotions.

Well done Ruth bloody brilliant 🤩 Who doesn’t love Gavin and Stacey and I enjoyed Never Greener. When I found this book on a shelf in Greece I thought I’d give it a go.

Yes there were traumas but there was also a lot of celebration and love – ups and downs. A must read - Ruth Jones is a great writer and it shows in her TV roles, plays and now in her books. I laughed and I cried and I’m gutted I’ve finished it!

A friendship triangle can usually be difficult with one friend feeling left out and I loved how this was explored in the story. I adored it from start to finish, the friendships spanning decades, the mismatched families, the love and the adoration of every character.

I wish it was longer and I will definitely be reading it again (once I’ve passed it to all of my friends to read too! Heart warming and gripping - I could not put it down. Another great book by Ruth Jones. Recommend to bookworms who👇~ enjoy stories about female friendships~ want a big hearted book and probably a little cry.
