The flakes are processed and fluffed to produce a clean, near white, fantastic bouncy polyester stuffing. Complies with standards, EN71, BS1425 & BS5852. This stuffing has been processed in Great Britain and complies with the B. I used to be a plastic bottle! Plastic bottles are collected by waste companies who sort, clean and shred the used plastic bottles to a 'washed flake' state. For the stuffing and filling of scatter cushions, backs and seat cushions plus toys. For toys and cushions, soft, clean and washable. There's really no substitute for seeing & feeling the fibre you plan to craft with. Available in 250g bags, this toy stuffing is a must have for those who love crafts and knitting toys!

I make cuddly toys for kids (of all ages! I have a glass tabletop & hard floor surface in my sewing room, so it's easy enough to clean up afterwards, but table cloths/carpets will require hoovering afterwards. It brushes off clothing & toy fabric easily though, so not a major issue really.

It's easy to manoevre into small areas and stays in position well. It has good bounceback and holds its shape. I would definitely buy this again.
The stuffing comes out easily by the handful, and is easy to separate. I don't know about its longevity or the effect of being put through a washing cycle yet however. The only downside is that it does have a habit of shedding small flecks everywhere during the stuffing process. Definitely reccomend.
It's about 75cm x 35cm and tightly packed, and should keep me going a while. For years I've upcycled stuffing from old pillows, but finally ran out and had to find actual toy stuffing. Topping up the Stuffing of two bears ! Good value for money.
