I noted from the intro video that the Solo and the more complex units do get some controls in this software so maybe it is more use for those. Very happy with this device. It’s a neat, tidy and intuitive little interface that opens up a whole world of recording possibilities and makes sure your instruments, vocals and equipment sound their best in whatever context you’re working in. Now you can connect your interface and set it up following on-screen instruction.

Does all the things my sound card can't! I absolutely loathe trial and error, but, unfortunately for me, it's the best way to learn. .

The unit controls are replicated in the software and each of the unit switchess can be turned on or off in this software but, since all of the controls are on the front of the unit, I cannot see much point in this; the knobs stil have to be turned manually. You can plug the lot in, then just one cable to your laptop and you have everything available.
