It Hoovered the landing carpet brilliantly, this has grooved in the weave so it doesn't stick so easily. This sucks well and is a relatively low wattage so environmentally quite good. There are some very negative reviews on this machine, I speak as I find and for the money I think it's good value. With this we have to get an extension lead out to vacuum our porch something we have never had to do with any other vacuum. 5 meters to short. So on all four surfaces it worked, great on three and a bit to powerful on one.
It's well under £100 and some others can cost up to £400. What a difference to the rug, it looked clean and Hoovered and the collecting box on the front was one third full with fluff, dirt and stuff ! ! Very simple to assemble the handle clicks in and can be removed for storage as can be seen in the pictures.
It's easy to empty and the filter system is easy to clean and bring the whole thing back to full power. I now took the two rubber blades out ~ it now worked and cleaned the hard surface with no problems at all.
As with most things, you buy what you can afford! I changed rooms and attacked the maroon rug on the oak floor.
It's cheap and cheerful and with Amazon & Hoover backing it up I can't see a good reason not the buy one. The suction on a click link vinyl floor was so strong I couldn't move it. Overall though very happy to have and easy to use
This multi purpose Hoover works for me, it will probably stay upstairs to avoid carrying the other machine up and down the stairs. Very Light Weight very basic Vacuum cleaner.
