Golden Girl
While not as accurate as moving steering linkages etc, there is far less to get damaged or jammed this way. Works great off road and on water, battery life is good and is quick of road my 6 year loves it. The battery life isn't very long, but enough for small kids to play and take turns with, and the remote control beeps at you when it is running low, so you don't get stranded out in a big pond! The media could not be loaded.
Brilliant
The polystyrene wheels will eventually get trashed, so we've been avoiding too much dry concrete or jagged rocks, but otherwise drives on most surfaces well. We've owned one for two months now and gifted another. (Don't go anywhere near sand is my advice! I’m buying this for my grandson’s birthday, I opened it and tested it in my dining room excellent quality pop’s wheelie’s, fast and perform’s well.
Be Seen Be Found
Obviously with the integrated battery you can't swap out a spare and keep driving. Overall I have been very impressed by this compared to other similar priced cars we bought and broke immediately. Both very minor but worth noting to potential buyers. It is 4 wheel drive so manages quite a bit of terrain, and being waterproof (although the instructions say not to fully submerge) wet grass and mud is quite fun and not a worry.

I will update this if there is any problems later on. )This works well, the battery is integrated, with a USB wire hardwired into the car, so cant be lost. Excellent fun.

So far doesn't show signs of falling apart and we have been doing the odd jump of about the height of the wheels or thereabouts. My only miner criticism is battery is concealed in the car with a USB cable to plug in to a charging point this is an excellent idea if the battery lasts for 20 to 30 minutes which has been said and has an overall long life, the USB cable is housed in a waterproof compartment under the car which is also a great idea no fidelity connections, the cable can be a little tricky to put back but is doable.

If you can find a ramp into water it is quite fun do drive on the water, but it wont have the power to pull away from any current/river flow. It can also charge from a battery bank while out if needed. Just avoid sand as it will grind into the gears. The controls are gradual, so actually gentle steering is possible, and is done via delivering different power to each side of the truck to turn.

! We have bought a number of RC cars on Amazon and this is by far the best! My only negatives: the cover plate to waterproof and stow the cable can be a fiddle to close and fit (but thankfully tool free), and it is quite a big toy to store.
