I will definitely be reading more from Freida McFadden. But rather than flip-flopping between characters from chapter to chapter, McFadden gives each character a substantial section of the book so you have the time and space to really understand each of them. I was again not expecting what happened in this book.

I have to say Freida might be the Queen of story twists. There’s a creepy motel (Baxter Motel even sounds similar to Bates Motel!

Another great one This book also cleverly plays with the readers’ expectations and twists them out of recognition. even though I second guessed myself the whole time, but I still felt pretty proud of myself.
