My son checked it out and declared he wanted it for himself so I’m having to buy another for my nephew It's one of those books that kids will want to read again and again! There's plenty in there to keep youngsters amused and entertained.

Where things need to be explained in more detail, things are clearly explained in a simple to understand format. The content is easy to read and the images are excellent. The photos in this book are amazing and I do think this is a brilliant book it’s well worth a read and I do think this would make an excellent birthday or a Christmas gift so I would definitely recommend. This is an impressive book not only with size and the weight of the book it is also just jam packed with a total of 14 chapters for instance the title of some of the chapters are GRUB’S UP /GRUESOMELY GROSS COOLLY CREATIVE and there are eleven more of these all with cracking titles.

! It may not be cheap but it will pass through a lot of little hands so is worth the price. I got it for the kids - but got engrossed myself first so enjoyed reading and learning before I passed it on to the kids lol.

It will certainly keep my grandkids quiet for a while as they go through all the fun facts as well as the more serious points in the book. It's definitely a page turner once you start reading this book and you are guaranteed to learn new interesting things in the process. It is light reading so will engage children on things they had never thought to ask. The media could not be loaded.

Plenty of great images and pictures - as well as fascinating information. Would definitely recommend Categories range from the human body and food, to the environment and a chapter appropriately entitled 'Gruesomely Gross'.

My kids love this book - it's packed full of fascinating facts, some weird, some a little gross, but all of them interesting enough to keep kids reading - and adults for that matter! The hard backed book is a good size , it's easy to read and navigate , there are facts on so many different subjects that are funny , weird , strange and amazing, a good way to increase your general knowledge flicking through this book whilst enjoying a coffee , it's a good family book to have on the bookshelf for sure.
