Looking at higher end models immediately jumped the price to over $1000. I looked at a lot of models and a lot of reviews before I decided on this one. As you probably guessed, I am not a body builder so I bought this to increase my muscle strength & activity levels overall. I'm 5'10" and 230 lbs.

They have another, more durable model that has polyurethane wheels which I wanted to buy but they said the only option they had was to replace the original wheels for my model, MaxiClimber Original, for free. I used the provided pictured tools at first to give it a fair shot. Observing how they worked, I noticed that the upper inside roller really didn't serve much function, so I removed it and used it to replace the outside roller - thereby leaving the upper inside spot empty.

I have been using it in combination with other exercises or on it's own. Understand that this is not a resistance machine. Fantastic cardio workout.

I've been very happy with it. Only annoying thing is the counter is below waist level so if I want to check progress mid workout I have to get off.

I am still to surpass the 5 minute mark in one go but I keep at it. I noticed that there was black stuff accumulating on the legs that the foot pedals roll on.
