It probably kept him busy for a good hour before the exertion demanded a brief rest. Very entertaining, however two possible design flaws haha. One compartment is next to a hole, which means as the dog pushes the ball around, the food comes out of the compartment and into the hole, going through the outside layer of the ball, via a maze-like puzzle, and eventually finding its way to an external hole where the food is dropped onto the floor.

Didn’t take my pup long to figure out how to use it. From the second the ball was placed in from of him, Timmy the dog wouldn't leave it alone, he spun it, rolled it, ran with it and even picked it up in his jaws and took it to his bed to guard. So, for keeping your (large) dog entertained, this is an excellent toy.

This is a brilliant little invention for wearing out your dog while exerting very little effort yourself! It only took her a couple of goes to associate the bell with the release of more food. But all in all a good buy. It could have done with a short time to allow the owner to put it on the floor before ringing.
