This item worked great! For some reason, my scalp causes build up on my hairbrush after even brushing it once.

I tested this out by cleaning my partner’s hairbrush and was so astounded I had to take a dramatic before and after pic of mine just to get people to believe me. After about five minutes all the dust, hair, and skin cells were gone.

This "brushes' brush" is incredible. This tool is freaking amazing. I clean my brush. I used to spend probably an hour cleaning my brush, this dramatic transformation took 10-15 mins (mostly because I dropped my brush in the toilet and had to spray it down with alcohol and wait for it to sanitize- I usually soak my brush in hot soapy water for 5 mins).

I am so happy with it and can finally stop having to repurchase brushes so often. In the pictures, the first is before, second is after using the cleaning brush, and the third is after using shampoo with the cleaning brush. This steadily chips away at them until the brush looks about as good as the day you bought it! I didn’t take a before picture—but trust me, it was nasty.

But I tried it out and it does the job. I was a little disappointed when I opened it. 4 star is because I don’t think it’s worth the price but maybe part of it is the shipping cost.
