This book had me smiling, laughing & when the spice finally hit. 10/10 recommend this for the slow burn, single parent & age gap lovers!

This was such a great slow burn. It's from her grumpy & judgy neighbor Garrett. Madison is such a strong FMC & I loved Jamie & how protective he is of his mama.

Garrett & Madison reluctantly become friends & Garrett forms a special relationship with both Madison & Jamie. One night while studying Madison hears someone at her door, she checks it out & sees a rude note that someone left. the mouth on Garrett was worth the wait.

Meet me Halfway by Lilian T James 5/5⭐Madison & her 8 year old son Jamie recently made the move to a new place. Garrett & Madison's relationship goes from dislike to friends to lovers & it's the slowest of slow burns.

Working 3 jobs & with the help from her parents & best friend is the only way she makes it happen but she does. Her family is everything & I loved her best friend Layla so much. The things Madison does/goes through to give Jamie a good life is so f'ing commendable. Getting her all wrong, Garrett makes assumptions and thinks Madison is something she's not.
