The Smart Dog
The iron has weight to it and for me that is not an issue. Certainly my mum for example, being elderly and with arthritis in her hands would struggle with its weight, but as she said her lightweight iron doesn’t do half as good a job.

This is just another good quality steam iron from Philips. There’s nothing I dislike here; the iron is a nice size and weight, has easy to operate controls & works quickly and efficiently. This will be something hard water users will love. Heats up really quickly and the steam function it’s automatic so you don’t have the press constantly the release button.
Beach and Books
It is very well made and strong, without being too heavy to hold/use. The media could not be loaded.

Some irons feel a bit weak in this area, but this iron has a strong steam jet which attacks creases very well. Definitely recommended. The vertical steam mode works great for hanging clothes or fabric and it’s perfect if you don’t own an iron board. 1 star off merely because the water level is difficult to judge when filling.

It has a number of functions that make use of either the steam or spray at different temperatures. It may cost more than some irons but I do believe you’ll always pay more for better-quality items. The cable is long enough to reach sockets with ease.

I am impressed with the design and function of this Philips 7000 Series Steam Iron, as well as the overall quality. This has speeded up the process by a boatload for me and I can highly recommend this iron to you. It is nice and lightweight and glides easily across clothes when in use. The iron is beautifully designed and probably the nicest looking iron I’ve ever owned.
