I've got a fair selection of existing Unifi products, including original AP-LR, an AC-Lite and an AC-LR. So switching over to an 80Mhz wide band, I found I too could also get 400Mbs out of the U6-Lite. 8m) that has been extended twice.

There are two structural walls between the front and back of the house and it has some flint in the walls as it's a seaside location, all of which has made wifi from a single router infeasible. This is a great AP with easy install, you can hide the network cable behind it, it looks modern / stylishDevices that I had issue with my old router connect to this without a single dropOnly real negative I can think of is that it's limited to about 250mbs for my WiFi devices which now I've moved to gigabit fibre feels slow, but that's not a fault of the product being the lite model For years I have been dealing with powerline adapters and struggling to reach 30 megabit of my 110 megabit connection, which is frustrating as my pc is at the rear of the house. This also shows that BT hogs the entire default 4 frequencies worth of bandwidth (channel 36-48).

Within 10 minutes it was on the network and fully running. I really don't think I could be happier with the end result.

Indeed I found the range on the U6-Lite further than the AC-Lite. I now get the full speed of my internet at the back of the house, the wifi deadzone in the middle has been banished and I get wifi everywhere seamlessly.

Overall, you'll get decent reliable wifi. . hardly any difference, and indeed, much slower than the 400Mbps I can get on my BT Smart Hub 2.

worked! There was subsequently a huge deadzone in the middle of the house where I had to use mobile internet if I wanted any.
