My recipe called for 40g of food colouring, but under 20g of sugarflair (I didn't measure it, I'm just judging it on around half a pot being used) was more than sufficient and next time I will use even less. It's a wet paste- beware of getting on your fingers obviously unless you like the lady macbeth aesthetic. X

. Best gel food colouring for my bloody red velvet cupcakes for Halloween.

Paddy Anne

I was making the Red Velvet cake for the first time, it was a Birthday cake for my friend and I needed it to be perfect, so I was a bit nervous, and especially wanted the colour to be very impressive, so it was important to get the colouring right. Best ever colouring I've ever bought to use in red velvet cupcakes Need to try it now on red velvet cake.

Liliya

I will be using it for the Red Velvet cupcakes too. 100% recommended.
