The proqs burn +/- 16hrs but if the wind is up they can burn up much faster. Good little smoke generator. This was just two cups of whole pellets in a cheap old B&D blender. Takes about 8 hours when fully loaded.

Burnt for over 10 hours when filled (you can obviously fill with however much you need) gives everything a great smoky flavour. Hope this helps someone else. Even cheap cheese is taken to the next level after a round with this little gizmo. Being a fan of smoked food it was inevitable I was going to purchase this at some point, and boy am I glad I did.

A bit difficult to get it going but hopefully that’s a matter a practice I've been using this with just my normal barbecue so far, it works a treat but I'm looking at purchasing a proper smoking cabinet soon to get the most from it. Its fantastic.

This works, pic attached! I have done a few batches of cheese and a batch of bacon using the ProQ placed inside my BBq and Smoker to smoke the bacon. The picture I've used is from when I was smoking the ingredients for a Chilli-Con-Carne (as well as cheese) - Worth doing it you want to add another dimension to your meal. *update* these bad boys are brilliant, proof attached.

Why ProQ doesn't offer the dust, is beyond me. High quality and works as it should, included instructions if you lose them or need them again. it was a bit difficult to get going the first time but I soon learned how to get it smoking well.

I've used it a couple of times now and have never been disappointed, the flavour you can put in your food is amazing and takes things to another level. Cheese will never be the same again. It's a very clever design, a maze like structure to fill with wood dust that burns slowly down. Very pleased with the unit.
