The author whom is a folklorist; really brings her A-game combining her skillful writing with her in depth knowledge of fae and fantastical creatures alike. There are some mistakes, which I expected, and which did not detract in any way from my enjoyment of the book.

Sad that I have to wait until next year, but I'm sure it will be worth it! Brutality of overstepping religion, a quest unlike any other I've experienced, and a voice the lgbtq+ community has long desired in a fantastical world of fae. Took me around 3 weeks to read & every chapter was exhilarating & detailed & painted a detailed picture of the world. Then she mentioned that she wrote a book!
