So the illustrations and the story are a good mix. Jim Kay's illustrations are beautiful, there's so much detail you could spend hours going over one picture. Anyway that's the downside out of the way now for the good stuff.

The dust jacket was ripped a little bit, but other than that it was in perfect condition. It is the perfect present for a Harry Potter fan, so if you don't know what to get you dear ones this Christmas, this is THE gift. Re-reading this version of the book was simply magical. In fact I didn’t even check the reviews I was that desperate.

Not only are the illustrations amazing the story (as you probably know) is not only breathtaking it's also my favourite book. I love all the work they put into details, and how the illustrations come and complete the story!
Thriller Seeker
Considering it had a long journey to make (from UK to Romania), I would have thought they would pack it with more attention, to prevent it from transport damages. I don't know why they did this, maybe to cut down on cost? The front cover is a picture of Harry in platform nine and three quarters, which the Hogwarts Express steering by.

Anyway. It's exactly the same book just with illustrations.

I would have liked to receive it in mint condition, but. Hopefully he will enjoy the book as much as I did. The main things in this version of the books are the illustrations.
