I bring the feeders indoors in the evenings as I am not convinced the feed would not get damp in the wet weather we are having. The new items have a 3 or 4 mm yellow plate showing enabling the girls to feed very well.

I have six hens of varying size and so I have two feeders. The feeders are really well designed and very solid. I will probably leave them out during the summer months. So far I have not had jumping rats to try to get to the grains in de container.

I have not seen any rats for over a week so I am convinced they are not getting any food. My husband has a day/night movement camera which I borrowed to see if the feeders were genuinely rat proof. Product so far has been great. I left it there for three days and nights.

I ended up placing it right next to their shed so ut wouldn't get wet. Any questions do not hesitate to ask. What a brilliant idea!

I started using the Rat Proof Poultry Feeder with Pest Repellent. It was saving me food that I decided I needed to buy 2 more. I bought 1 about a month ago and right off the bat the chickens new what to do. I have had these feeders for two weeks.

Most of my chicken use it. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent two replacement lower units after receiving photographs. I had 177 photos during this time but NO RATS OR MICE. As you can see one of our chickens just really loves the feeder.
