I can only recommend to anyone struggling with anxiety and often forgetting the benefits of simple breathing that has extra money to spend. The necklace itself is so pretty, it comes with a long chain, and it is attractive enough to go with any look. I can respect that these are the original designers of the apparatus and I can also applaud them for making a great tool that could very well improve people's lives, however, the price point for some of these models seems a bit steep.

Does it help exhale in a more streamlined and effective way - I have to admit it does VS breathing out normally. However, they are actual etched into the steel. It is easy to use, it does help me exhale more slowly, and it helps control my breathing. I tried one other breathing tool first based on appearance and price.

Then you simply repeat this a few times to calm yourself. This action forces you to breathe slowly and sends a message to your brain that everything is okay, and your body can relax. While this is great and means it will last without wearing off, I would have liked the Japanese to be noticeable.

But here's an expensive piece of metal to help you do what you've been doing autonomically since birth. i love this necklace so much! This bumps you up to about 8 seconds, but if you start off using it just for exhales and don't worry about the 8 second triads it's easy for a beginner and removes some of the need for counting. It also comes with a nice suede-like pouch to keep the necklace in.

)Overall, I do recommend this for people with panic disorder or anxiety because it actually does help you change the way you breathe. What I can say is that this one checks all the boxes the other did not, and that I find myself reaching for it quite a bit even throughout an easy day just to help me relax and recenter. WOW what a game changer this necklace is a must have and I will be ordering them for family members in the future. I often find myself taking in a deep breath through my nose and counting while I slowly exhale from my lips, making sure to breathe from my diaphragm rather than my chest.

No doubt that the shift is a very well crafted and esthetically pleasing accessory and is a little heavy for someone like me who hasn't put on any type of neckless for years - it did take a couple of days to adjust to having this accessory around my neck. Absolutely not.

One, of course, is the price. (On a side note, when you gently exhale through this tube, it warms up ever so slightly, which is also kind of relaxing.
