I have included photos of:The fence/guide. No gaps anywhere on the body. This really shows the extra power that is available with this brushless version.
It means that the planer is perfect for using as a "sander", saves hours in time). The blade setting tool, for when you change blades and the mini included blades. Well, this has turned out to be everything I'd hoped.
Build quality is as I've come to expect from Makita. Update: July 2020. Personally that makes me happy.
It is a wonderful tool. 5mm on the old brushed model. Full width ones are available, if required. 1mm increments.
