The picture of the green summer house is actually a summerhouse we inherited with the house. I put a few coats on as I can be a slap it on merchant.

this is brilliant paint tho, but just the colour shade was off. Although light pink it covered well over very dark paint. If the wood is smooth it looks a bit like a wash on the first coat but is a good colour on the second coat.

The reason was that I left it too long between coats and the paint cures and once it forms a waterproof barrier its more difficult to paint. It’s quite thick and using the correct brush (Harrison’s) worked a treat with fantastic results. . The paint is a bit like a satin after a couple of coats on smooth wood and matt on rough wood, unless you do lots of coats ans it goes smoother and more satin.

I have used lots of colour but at the moment its Old English Green, Natural Stone and Urban Grey. This paint can also be used on metal and brick so I'm considering using it cover some troughs and ceramic pots too. From this experience I'd say you don't really need an undercoat unless the item you're painting is really porous, just do two coats! Just the table and another two seater to do with my remaining tubs.
