its been through many storms and even a cyclone and did not let a drop in. i trust this tent. It is very easy to put up, very straightforward to fold and hide back in the bag. ive pinched it on beaches, rainforrest, high up on moutains and many other places.

Lasted really rainy night at the beach and I never got any rain in, also did not notice any condensation in the morning. Then I went camping in scottish mountains on very boggy ground and the tent survived both that and extremely strong wind throughout the night - single pole managed to stand the wind force no problem.

Would definetly recommend(on the photo you can see I did not use those small poles to support the end of the tent - did not take them to reduce the weight but I think they are handy to stretch the tent better) Highly recommended as a practical and relatively inexpensive backpacking tent. It performed brilliantly,didn't leak a drop despite some very wild and wet weather and was easy to pitch. The porch is great - after leaving my boots and rucksack there was still room for something.
It is pretty lightweight( I did not get the lighter version because of the price obviously - but I am still very pleased how light it is) and fits in my 35l rucksackI am short 5. It took me some time to pick up this tent from among other one man tents.
Only used it twice so far but I can say it is totally worth the money. it may be a little heaveyer than some other light tents but is worth it.
3 so I have lots of room to sit inside and plenty to place my sleeping mat and few extra bits(but I saw a video of a bigger guy that admitted he was very comfortable in this tent too). Use of a footprint which can be permanently attached gives ground cover in the porch area which is a benefit, when pitching on damp or wet ground ,and helps protect the floor of the inner tent from potential damage.
A huge bonus in this part of the UK was that it also proved to be midge proof. The addition of a Terra Nova porch tarp provides a covered porch area outside the door enabling cooking under cover in the rain and extra ventilation options. Put this to the test on a 7 week hiking, wild camping and fly fishing trip to a very remote area of nw scotland last summer. condensation never got me or my sleeping bag wet and is so easy to put up.
