The ability to track deep sky objects seamlessly sets the Dwarf II apart. They do offer chat level help for those having trouble getting started (which I didn't use). This is already to take pictures in minutes. The team scheduled a Zoom call to walk me through the device's functionalities, ensuring I could maximize its potential.

Updated March 2024- When I first bought the Dwarf II in Sept 2023, the software was atrocious- buggy and VERY unintuitive. There are still a couple of areas that could use clarification in the tutorials, but in playing for about 30 minutes in the cold, I got some great photos Bear in mind that I am a total noob when it comes to astrophotography, so any decent result impresses me.

This is very comparable to SeeStar, a little cheaper, more uses, more portable. The free post processing software works great.

This telescope is incredibly easy to take to different locations, making it perfect for impromptu stargazing sessions or astrophotography adventures. Bottom line, I highly recommend buying the Dwarf II Deluxe to realize the full potential of the scope with solar and sky filters, extra battery and other accessories. This level of customer support is truly exceptional and sets Dwarf II apart from any other product I've owned.

The Dwarf lab team was very receptive to suggestions which has made vast improvements in the system. That's on my tablet or I'd add that. I advise new unexperienced (like me ) and experienced folks to learn about the scope, practice on a variety of targets. The solar filters produce images of the sun, revealing details like sunspots.
