I am utterly bereft now that it's over, its a book that is going to stay with me for a very long time. I spent most of the week begrudgingly trudging through How To Stop Time and finally got round to this gem on the last day. I read this book whilst on holiday in Sardinia recently.

A ray of sunshine. Ruth Hogan a true masterpiece, thank you. The story has sadness, laughter and true friendships develop through out.

Brilliant. The plot you will have to encounter for yourself, it's a must read, if I could recommend only 1 book this year then it is this. It was just what I needed to pick me up from the autumn gloom! This book is magical and a real treasure to read.
